Amy M. Tresemer, age 83, longtime resident of Hibbing died Sunday, March 17, 2013, in Heritage Manor in Chisholm. She was born August 14, 1929, in Henning, MN, the daughter of Selmer and Mabel (Tolefson) Vik. She attended school in Henning. She was united in marriage to Vernon Tresemer on March 22, 1952, in Park Rapids, MN.
Amy worked as a nurse's aide supervisor at Leisure Hills for many years. She was a member of 1st Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed handcrafts, fishing, and BINGO.
Amy is survived by three children: Debra Gunkel, Robert Tresemer, and Ron (Joyce) Tresemer, all of Hibbing; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her daughter: Beverly; five brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 pm funeral service Friday, March 22, 2013, in the First Lutheran Church in Hibbing. The Reverend Larry Quanbeck will officiate. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
