Anna Linnea Eliason, age 97, lifelong resident of Hibbing, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Guardian Angels Health and Rehabilitation in Hibbing. She was born July 11, 1920, in Hibbing the daughter of Ivar and Anna Sophia (Lundquist) Eliason. She was a 1937 graduate of Hibbing High School. Linnea worked as a dairy farmer and also did housework. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and sewing. Linnea always had a good story to tell, and she wrote many poems about her life on the farm

Linnea is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Iver and Ewald, and an infant brother, Erik; and sisters: Gertrude and Jordeth.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel in Hibbing. Interment will be in the Hibbing Park "Maple Hill" Cemetery.
