Anna Linder, age 89 of Gilbert died Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Boundary Waters Care in Ely. She was born in Chicago, IL the daughter of William and Rose (Augustyniak) Mack. Anna was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School, was married to Martin M Linder, and lived in Chicago, Villa Park, IL and Gilbert. She was the owner/operator of Mike's Crossroads Bar in Pike Sandy and was a caretaker of Broadview Manor in Gilbert for over 25 years. Anna had served as president of the Broadview Manor Club and enjoyed big band music and polkas. Her family was her primary focus and her greatest love.

Anna is survived by sons: John Zaitz of Tower, Michael Linder of Las Vegas, and Larry Linder of Gilbert; grandchildren: Joseph Zaitz of Tower and Melissa (Al) Schroeter of Ely; great-grandchildren: Alexis Kudis of Cherry, Ethan Zaitz of Tower, Jonathan Zaitz of Tower, Trevor Zaitz of Tower, Alex Haburn of Babbitt, Jordan Haburn of Ely and Lily Schroeter of Ely; siblings: Henrietta Kneser of West Plains, MO and Daniel Mack of Chicago; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Martin.

At Anna's request, no formal services will be held. A private family graveside will take place at a later date.
