Ardis Lorraine Beaman, age 82 of Hibbing passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born September 15, 1932 in Clara City, MN the daughter of John J. and Edith Victoria (Chalquist) Johnson; and was a graduate of Montevideo High School, class of 1950. Ardis married Roger E. Beaman in Webster, South Dakota in 1950. They lived in Montevideo, Minneapolis, Sebeka, and Keewatin prior to moving to Hibbing. They spent many summers at their cabin on Big Bear Lake and wintered in Panama City Beach, FL for 12 years. Ardis was employed by Honeywell, Precision Industries, and the 1st National Bank in Hibbing. She enjoyed the monthly outing for the bank retirees, and appreciated the company of her neighbors and friends.
Ardis is survived by daughter: Lori (Frank) Pasalich of Hibbing; sons: David (Merrie) Beaman of St. Anthony Village and Steven (Jodi) Beaman of Maple Grove; seven grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Roger, four siblings, and a granddaughter: Meri Ruth Beaman.
Private family services will be held.
