Austin Lee Paolo, age 26 of Grand Rapids and formerly of Pengilly died unexpectedly Friday, September 12, 2014 in Grand Itasca Medical Center. He was born March 29, 1988 in Hibbing and was a graduate of Nashwauk – Keewatin High School. Austin was employed as a Personal Care Attendant and a salesman. He was mechanically inclined and liked working in the garage on anything with a motor. Austin enjoyed four-wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, youth group and attending Christian concerts. He had the ability to make you laugh, and cherished time spent with family and friends.
Austin is survived by his mom: Marlene Paolo of Hibbing; sister: Christa (Jeremy) Fredette of Keewatin; a niece: Annabelle Fredette; several aunts, a special uncle: Pat Moore; stepfather: David Walters; cousins, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Myra and John Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in the Anderson Daniels Funeral Home in Hibbing. Pastor Tim Maki will officiate. A Visitation will begin one prior to the service at the funeral home.
