Barbara Jean Hilmas, age 75 of Virginia died Wednesay, November 16, 2016 in St. Raphael's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Eveleth. She was born June 24, 1941 in Virginia, MN the daughter of Eugene and Hilma (Luoma) Hilmas and was a graduate of Cromwell High School. Barbara lived in the Minneapolis area for many years prior to returning to Virginia. She collected unique coffee cups, loved her family and remembered everyone's birthday with a birthday card.
Barbara is survived by her brothers: Duane (Barbara) Hilmas of Colorado and Dennis (Edith) Hilmas of Wisconsin; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother: Mayme; sister: Gloria; and other loved ones close to her heart.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery.
