Bertha M. Litchy, age 76, of Hibbing and formerly of Zim and Spring Lake Park, MN, died Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Guardian Angels in Hibbing. She was born in Eveleth, MN, the daughter of Anton and Olga (Maenpaa) Keveri. She graduated from Cotton High School. Bertha was united in marriage to Walter T. Litchy on April 19, 1958, in Kelsey, MN.
Bertha worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed handcrafts and sewing.
Bertha is survived by her husband: Walter; her children: Raymond (Keri) Litchy of Hibbing, Jeff Litchy of Toivola, MN, and Renee Warwas of Hibbing; two grandchildren: Raymond and Thomas Warwas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Sophie, Martha and Elma; two brothers: Tauno and Toivo; and her son-in-law: Ronald Warwas.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the 12:00 Noon Funeral Service Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hibbing. The Reverend Kevin Olson will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date.
