Beverly Jean Culbert, age 89, a longtime resident of Virginia, died Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the Essentia Virginia Care Center. She was born October 8, 1927 in Duluth, the daughter of Carl and Edna (Locken) Anderson. Beverly married Walter William Culbert on December 7, 1946 in Virginia. She attended the Peace United Methodist Church in Virginia, and was a homemaker. Beverly was an exceptional person, unselfish and caring, and never complained. She was an excellent baker, and known for her "hot dogs in a bun". Beverly will be remembered for her love of her children, grandchildren, and chocolate. Memories of summers at the cabin on Lake Vermilion will be remembered fondly.

Beverly is survived by children: Bill (Christine) Culbert, Betty Carol Culbert, Lynne (Assad) Karimi, Ruth (Duane) Delich, Gary Culbert, David (Diane) Culbert, and Robin (Brian) Aronen; grandchildren: Nicole (Bill) Dahl, Kimberly (Paul) Blaeser) Megan (Bruce) Beck, Stacie Baribeau, Jennifer (Clyde Ireland) Baribeau, Chad (Sara) Baribeau, Majid (Katy) Karimi, Sawra (Matt) Maurer, Sonia (Matt) Zechmann, Debbie (Dan) Lehmann, Lowell (Jami) Roberts, Jedidiah Culbert, Emma (David) Culbert, Amanda Culbert, Marcy (Ray) Anderson, Heather Culbert, Chloe Culbert, Adam (Heather) Culbert, Andrea (Jason) Leiffering, Eric (Arianna) Culbert, Ashley (Jonathon) Bishop, Charlie Paul Lundblad, and Kristen Aronen; 37 great-grandchildren; siblings: Betty Thayer of Virginia and Robert (Emmy) Anderson of Crane Lake; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Walter.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Peace United Methodist Church in Virginia. A Gathering time for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia.
