Bobby James Slining, age 30 of Babbitt and formerly of Elko, NV passed away unexpectedly Friday July 17, 2015. He was born August 31, 1984 in Ely, the son of James and Vickey (Bentley) Slining. Bobby attended John F. Kennedy High School in Babbitt and Mesabi Range Technical College in Eveleth. He enjoyed cooking, golfing, playing baseball, and gardening.
Bobby is survived by his mom: Vickey Slining of Babbitt, brother: Larry Powers, Jr. of Babbitt, and sister: Laccey Slining of Ely; girlfriend: Julia Johnson, her children: Chloe, Lillianna and dog MJ and her mother: Lucia Snodgrass of Virginia; grandparents: Ray and Eileen Bentley of Babbitt; extended family and friends, including Tony, Robin, and Emily Rose.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents; and uncles and aunts.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
