Bradley Andrew Salminen, age 35, longtime resident of Hibbing and Virginia died Friday, June 29, 2023, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  He was born January 24, 1988, in Hibbing the son of Terry and Deidre (Foster) Salminen.  He was a graduate of Hibbing High School.

Brad worked as a cook in several local restaurants.  He enjoyed Legos, model building, and Pokémon.

Brad is survived by his parents: Terry & Deidre Salminen; daughter Kiona Sweeney; paternal grandmother: Donna DeLuca; paternal grandfather: Mike Salminen; maternal grandmother: Leslie Russo; sister: Liana Foster; and numerous extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: William Foster; Maternal step-grandfather: Dominic Russo; and paternal step-grandfather: Anthony DeLuca.

Brad's family will be holding a Memorial Service for him Saturday July 22 at the Open Door Church in Hibbing.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and last until the 12:00 p.m. service.  Luncheon will follow the service.  Pastor Brent Theien will officiate.  Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia at a later date.
