Bruce Clyde Longrie, age 82, of Virginia and formerly of Embarrass, Mt. Iron, Cohasset, Grand Rapids, and Blackberry, MN, died Thursday, February 5, 2026, in his home with family at his side.  He was born April 30, 1943, in Grand Rapids, MN, the son of Victor J. and Ethel J. (Buchanan) Longrie.  He was a graduate of Grand Rapids High School.  Bruce was united in marriage to Marsha M. Bergman on August 30, 1980, in Virginia.

Bruce worked as a Lab Technician for US Steel – Minntac, retiring in 1999.  He was a Member of ERVAC and enjoyed antique cars.

Bruce is survived by his wife: Marsha; children: Pamela Jane (David) Howell of Buhl, MN, Daniel Bergman Longrie of Minneapolis, MN, Joseph Matthew (Cheryl) Longrie of Rockford, MN, and Michaela Janine (Matthew) Kelley of Gilbert, MN; siblings: Diana Longrie of Maplewood, MN, and Jeff Longrie of Grand Rapids, MN; grandchildren: Gavin Howell, Cayden Castellano, Ashton Howell, Amelia Mitchell, Brandt Kelley, and Anya Longrie; and numerous extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: Jere Longrie.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Katie Larson will be the officiant.  Interment will be at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia.
