Carey M. Folman, age 39, of Virginia and formerly of Soudan died Thursday, August 25, 2016, at her home. She was born November 15, 1976 at Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, LA, the daughter of Richard B. and Diane (Crayne) Johnson. She attended Virginia High School.

Carey worked as a retail clerk. She enjoyed sketching and drawing.

She is survived by her daughters: Kari (Jacob) Krocak of Montgomery, MN, and Hannah Folman of Eveleth, MN; her parents: Richard (Diane) Johnson of Virginia; and her paternal grandmother: Gertrude Johnson of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Robert M. Johnson; and her maternal grandparents: Gordon (Hazel) Crayne and Sylvia Crayne.

At Carey's request, no formal services will be held.
