Carla Lynn Olson, age 67 of Babbitt, died on Thursday June 18, 2026, in Babbitt.  She was born on February 28, 1959, and a 1977 graduate of Horace Mann High School in Biwabik, MN.

Carla was a dedicated paraprofessional at the Babbitt Schools, where she passionately served students and inspired those around her with warmth and kindness.  Beyond her professional life, Carla found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from spending time with her beloved dogs, Taz and Paul, playing pickleball, exploring rummage sales, savoring nighttime cups of hot tea. She cherished every moment with her children and especially her grandchildren, who she adored.

Carla is survived by her Children: Trisha (Lucas) Poderzay of Soudan, Mn, Mathew (Charotte) Roggenbuck of Embarrass, Mn, Tamijo (Trevor Anderson) Roggenbuck of Tower, Mn and Taylor (Joe) Pangrac of Buhl, Mn; Siblings: Natalie Bruun of Hannibal, MO, Mark Bober of Virginia, Mn, Richard Bober of Embarrass, Mn and Terry Bober of Virginia, Mn; Grandchildren: Lara and Zachary Poderzay, John Warren, Arthur, Dominik and Alexandra Pangrac; First husband and her children's father: Virgil Roggenbuck and numerous extend family and friends.

She preceded in death by: Her Parents.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday July 2,2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tower.  The visitation will begin one hour prior.
