Charles "Charlie" Thomas Angell, 54, of Babbitt, died Thursday, February 26, 2009. Charlie was born on July 29, 1954 in St. Paul to Thomas and JoAn (Leseman) Angell. Charlie was a millwright by trade who spent most of his adult life working in the underground mining industry. Charlie loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, JoAn Angell of Babbitt; two daughters, Michelle and Sara; a brother, Tim (Leslee) Angell of Lake Stevens, WA; a sister, Cindy (Sabin Larsen) Angell of St. Augustine, FL.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodland Presbyterian Church in Babbitt, with the Reverend Frank Davis, PhD officiating.
