Cheryl Sue Altman, age 62, of Hibbing and formerly of the Chicago area, died Tuesday, August 17, 2011, in her home. She was born April 12, 1949 in Lakeland, FL, the daughter of William John and Mildred Bernice (Webster) Altman. She graduated from Reavis High School in Burbank, IL.
Cheryl worked as a forklift operator in Illinois prior to retiring to Hibbing. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing.
Cheryl is survived by her brother: Terry (Nancy) Altman of Somonauk, IL; her sister: Debra Altman of Hibbing; her nephew: Terry R. Altman of IL; and her niece: Michele Shotts of OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: John Darryl, and Chuck.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 10:30 am Memorial Service Friday, August 19, 2011, in the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing. The Reverend Jim Deters will officiate.
