Clarice Roberta (Shofner) Lervik, age 87, longtime resident of Hibbing died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in Heritage Manor in Chisholm. She was born April 22, 1927, in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Milton and Ruth (Jackson) Shofner. She was united in marriage to Brunolf John Lervik on July 13, 1946, in Hibbing.
Clarice worked as a homemaker. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Hibbing. She enjoyed collecting salt & pepper shakers, coins and stamps, and loved music.
Clarice is survived by her children: John Lervik of Chisholm, Ronald (Judy) Lervik of Mt. Iron, Delona Lervik of Hibbing, Richard Lervik of Hibbing, Daryl Lervik of Hibbing, and Dorothy (Russ) Wiener of Canyon Lake, TX; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her brother: Milton (Dana) Shofner of Pengilly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Brunolf in 2005; her sisters: Nell, Adeline, Mildred, Idella, and Beatrice; her brother: Floyd; and her granddaughter: Christine Marie Lervik Wylen.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am until the 1:00 pm Funeral Service Friday, May 16, 2014, in the First Lutheran Church in Hibbing. The Reverend Larry Quanbeck will officiate. Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
