Biography

Corbin Samuel Lastovich, age 24, of Sheridan, WY, and formerly of Hibbing went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 9, 2011 after sustaining injuries in a single vehicle automobile accident. He was born August 26, 1986 in Lake Forest, IL, son of Jeffrey and Janice (Wambolt) Lastovich. He graduated from Hibbing High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Bemidji State University.
Corbin worked as a Branch Account Executive for CITI Financial in Sheridan, and had previously worked at Northwoods Ford in Hibbing detailing cars. He attended Chisholm Baptist Church. Corbin loved anything with wheels. He enjoyed the outdoors, rocks, mountain biking, playing guitar and bass, and golf. His easygoing nature and willingness to help a friend will be missed by many.
Corbin is survived by his parents: Jeff and Janice; his brother: Tyler Lastovich of Hibbing; paternal grandparents: Dan (Leota) Lastovich of Hibbing, and Carlene Jaros of Hibbing; maternal grandparents: Edward (Marjorie) Wambolt of Lakeville, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the 11:00 am funeral service Saturday, August 13, 2011 in the Chisholm Baptist Church. The Reverend Dan Erickson will officiate. A private interment will be held Monday, August 15, in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
