Daisy Milanovich Pavelich, age 91, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Monday, July 21, 2014, in the Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills. She was born September 15, 1922, in Hibbing, the daughter of Peter and Barbara (Liljak) Milanovich. She was a graduate of Hibbing High School. Daisy was united in marriage to George Pavelich on June 19, 1943, in Colorado Springs, CO.
Daisy worked as a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing.
Daisy is survived by her daughter: Georgia (Larry) McMains of White Bear Lake, MN; her sister: Sophie Waite of Hibbing; two grandchildren: Michelle (Robert) Bley of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Renee Munro of Minneapolis; a great-granddaughter: Olivia Munro; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: George; her son: Michael; two brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the 12:00 noon funeral service Thursday, July 24, 2014, in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Fr. Vladimir Lange will officiate. Interment will be in the Hibbing Park "Maple Hill" Cemetery.
