David Wayne Reiten, age 71, longtime resident of Grand Rapids went to be with his Lord on May 7, 2023.  He was born November 23, 1951, in Granite Falls, MN, the son of Roy and Betty (Benedict) Reiten.  David was united in marriage to Susan Guentzel on August 14, 1976, in Hibbing, MN.

David worked for over 40 years as a Pastor serving as a Youth Pastor at Vine Evangelical Church in Minneapolis, as an Assistant Pastor at Breckenridge Gospel Tabernacle in Breckenridge, MN, as a Sr. Pastor at People's Church in Dalhart, TX, and for nearly 28 years as Sr. Pastor of Full Gospel Church in Grand Rapids, MN.  He participated in the Pastors Prayer Fellowship in Grand Rapids and the nationwide Fellowship of Christian Assemblies.  He was an active swimmer going to the pool at the YMCA 5 days a week.  He enjoyed deer hunting, and enjoyed nature and spending time in the woods.  Dave was currently writing a book based on his father's experiences in Europe during WWII.

David is survived by his wife of 46 years: Susan; his children: Chris (Sara) Reiten of Phoenix, AZ and Carey (Brett) Lopez of Monroe, WA; foster-mother: Lee Person; foster brother: Cameron Person; mother-in-law: Joyce Nelson; sisters: Laurie Clinton and Patricia Reiten; and the grandchildren he delighted in: Levi, Joshua, and Samuel Lopez, and Elizabeth and Lillian Reiten.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Grand Rapids Assembly of God Church (1585 E. Highway 169, Grand Rapids, MN).  The Reverend Kevin Norton will officiate.  Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.
