David Rudy Waisanen, age 49, of Chisholm and formerly of Duluth, died Thursday, September 3, 2015, in his home. He was born June 8, 1966, in Hancock, MI, the son of David W. and Shirley (Spelich) Waisanen. He attended school in Chisholm, and worked as a mechanic.
David is survived by his Mother: Shirley Sandback of Chisholm, his children: Adam Colemer of Chisholm, Brianna (Scott) Asperheim of Duluth, Adam (Elaine) Ronning of Duluth, Jory Waisanen of St. Cloud, and Miranda Waisanen of Duluth; sisters: Marion Waisanen of Duluth, Dawn (Paul) Kowalski of Crosby, and Nicole (Michael) Lenarz of Chisholm; brothers: Bruce (Doryan) Waisanen of Honolulu, and Trampas (Naomi) Waisanen of Chisholm; and 5 grandchildren (with one on the way); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: David W. Waisanen.
A private gathering will be held.
