Dawn Marie Stellmach, age 59 of Virginia died Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Essentia Health – Virginia. She was born November 20, 1959 in Soudan, MN the adopted daughter of Bruce and Nancy (Hall) Engel. She was a graduate of Virginia High School and attended Culinary School. Dawn married Timothy Peter Stellmach on September 19, 1981 in Virginia, and was a longtime Virginia resident. She was a member of Hope Community Presbyterian Church, enjoyed gardening, collecting angels, and baking cookies for all to enjoy.

Dawn is survived by her husband: Tim; son: Casey (Kelsey) Stellmach of Chatfield, MN; grandson: Colton; mother: Nancy Engel of Virginia; sisters: Debbie (Gary) Moon of Canby, OR, Jayne (John) Egan of Highland Ranch, CO and Darlene (John) Hadrava of Eveleth; brother-in-law: Bryan Meyers of Duluth; extended family, including special cousin: Ethie Kniivila; pets: Tucker and T-2; and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her son: Jacob "Jake" Stellmach; father: Bruce Engel; and sister: Renee Meyers.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Hope Community Presbyterian Church in Virginia. Reverend Kate Stangl will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery.
