Delbert Otto Balzum, age 90, of Buhl and formerly longtime resident of Hibbing died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Cornerstone Villa in Buhl. He was born April 27, 1928 in Grand Rapids, MN, the son of Otto and Frances (Steel) Balzum. He attended school in Grand Rapids and Hibbing.

Delbert was a heavy equipment operator at US Steel – retiring in 1977. He also did house-moving.

He is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Marcia, two sons, and a daughter.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kevin Olson will officiate. Interment will be in the Hibbing Park "Maple Hill" Cemetery.
