Deloris Ann Elmquist, age 88, longtime resident of Hibbing died Monday, October 16, 2017, at St. Raphael's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Eveleth. She was born August 8, 1929, in Kensington, MN, the daughter of Hjalmer and Agnes Nelson. She graduated from Kensington High School. Deloris was united in marriage to Donald C. Elmquist on February 19, 1949, in Kensington.

Deloris worked as a secretary at 1st Bank in Hibbing. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was involved with serving in their circles. She was a member of the Elks.

Deloris is survived by her Children: Steve (Drusilla "Missi") Elmquist of Simpsonville, KY; Keith (Jean) Elmquist of Walker, MN; Gary (Elaine) Elmquist of Gilbert, MN; and Marcia (Jim) Jacobson of Hibbing, MN; Grandchildren: Shannon (Morgan), Dr. Donald (Kristen), Sean (Chelsea), Aaron (Samantha), Lindsay (Ted), Emily (Zuhair), Sherry, Jennifer (Nathan), Jason (Jessica), Kristy (Dan); Great-grandchildren: Michael, Mitchell, Eva, Eli, Olivia, Alida, Mya, Ethan, Luke, Ava, Ryan, Noah, Cori, Seth, Charlotte, Adam, and Emalyn; Great-great-grandchildren: Brecken and Maci; and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Donald (2017); her brother: Delmore Nelson and Aunt: Esther.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4pm until 6pm at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel, in Hibbing. Interment will be at 1:30pm Sunday, October 22, 2017, in the First Lutheran Church Cemetery in Kensington, Minnesota. The Funeral Service will follow at 2pm at the 1st Lutheran Church in Kensington, with Pastor Janna Bader officiating.

Memorials are preferred to the First Lutheran Cemetery in Kensington.
