On Sunday, August 30th, 2026, Diane Wehrenberg Jacobson passed away at her home in Hibbing, Minnesota. Her passing was sudden and unexpected while doing one of her favorite hobbies, yardwork.

Diane was a lifelong Iron Ranger who worked closely with the community of Cherry Township as treasurer, election judge, and first responder. For twenty-five years, Diane put her heart into working for Walmart, climbing her way to front-end team lead. She was an avid NASCAR fan who loved to go to races at various tracks, to the dismay of other fans she always brought rain delays and one snow delay with her.

Diane was a loving mother of two children: Cruze Walker and Andrew (Kathy) Jacobson; as well as a very proud grandma of multiple grandpuppies, grandkitties and several grandfishies (she took pride in showing off her furred and scaled grandchildren). Many nieces and nephews enjoyed spending time with "Auntie".

She is preceded in death by her husband: John Jacobson; mother: Mercedes Davis; and father: Walter Wehrenberg.

Services will be held at Cherry Townhall at 9831 MN-37 Iron Junction at 2:30pm on September 26th, 2026. The family asks that you bring smiles and your best memories to share.
