Dianne Renee Frider age 59 of Chisholm and formerly of Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 in her home in the Aspen Grove Assisted Living Facility. She was born July 6, 1955, in Hibbing, MN the daughter of Robert James and Clarice Dell (Rutter) Frider. She was employed as a seamstress for the ODC, a job she really enjoyed. Dianne was an avid crocheter, making afghans, mittens and other delightful works of art; she excelled in sewing and other crafts; and loved to fish and spend time outdoors. She was a participant in the Special Olympics, winning many awards in bowling; and enjoyed have many pets including parakeets, cats and her dog: Snoopy. She had a special bond with her mom: Clarice; who preceded her in death just six days prior.
Dianne is survived by her siblings: James (Donna) Frider of Cary, NC and Cindy Garson and her fiancé Jon Koskiniemi of Virginia; nieces and nephews: Stephanie (Joe) Mayry, Danielle Frider and Scott Frider; great-nephews: Noah & Nicholas Mayry; aunts: Jean Pearthree of Durango, Co, Carol Gilbert of Deer River, Anita (Robert) Parris of Warrenton, VA and Sharon Lilliquist of Minneapolis and Elsie Rutter of Silica; extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Bob and Clarice Frider and uncle: Richard Rutter.
A Gathering time for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Memorial Mass in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia. Reverend Father Brandon Moravitz will celebrate the mass. Inurnment will take place in the Hibbing Park – Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
