Dorothy "Dolly" Kosanovich, age 87, longtime resident of Las Vegas, NV and formerly of Lorraine, OH and Hibbing, MN died Saturday, August 19, 2017, in St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, NV. She was born November 17, 1929, in Hibbing, MN the daughter of Tomo and Bosiljka (Samardzich) Deretich. She graduated from Hibbing High School. She was united in marriage to Bernard "Bud" Kosanovich on May 29, 1955.

Dolly worked as a secretary for the auto industry while they lived in Ohio. She was a member of St. Mark's Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorraine.

Dolly is survived by her siblings: Olga Ljubenko of LaGrange Park, IL, George Deretich of Ham Lake, MN, Sam (Liz) Deretich of Anoka, MN, Peter (Linda) Deretich of Holly, MI, and Nick Deretich of Reno, NV, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings: Dana Kovich, Walter Deretich, Helen Keehr, Sophie Radojcich, and Marko Deretich.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel in Hibbing. The Reverend Andrew Boroda will officiate. Interment will be in the Hibbing Park "Maple Hill" Cemetery.
