Dorothy Ruth Marie Werth, age 64, lifelong resident of Hibbing died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in the Fairview University Medical Center in Hibbing. She was born April 13, 1948 in Hibbing the daughter of Lawrence and Beverly (Johnson) Kerr. She attended Hibbing Schools. Dorothy was united in marriage to Victor Werth on November 25, 1967 in the Kelly Lake Methodist Church.
Dorothy worked as a homemaker. She was a member of the Women of the Moose. Dorothy volunteered her time at the Food Shelf and Mac Nap. She enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch, playing BINGO, and playing cards.
Dorothy is survived by her husband: Victor; her daughter: Ruth (fiancée Chad Heibel) Estrella of Duluth; sisters: Elaine (Rick) Tawyea of Hibbing and Melody (Jerry) Johnson of Two Harbors; brothers: Larry (Laura) Kerr, Jr. of Hibbing, and Mike Kerr of Hibbing; two granddaughters: Sarah and Melissa Sanchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother: Lee James.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the 12:00 Noon Funeral Service Monday, September 24, 2012 in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel in Hibbing. The Reverend Roland Weaver will officiate.
