Eileen Rose Kitto, age 86, longtime resident of Hibbing and formerly of Tower, MN, died Sunday, September 6, 2015, at her home with family at her side. She was born December 17, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Celso and Armenia (Scaia) Mosconi. Eileen was united in Marriage to William John Kitto, Jr. on February 18, 1954, in Tower, MN.
Eileen was a homemaker, and she worked for many years at Pamida in Hibbing. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing. Eileen enjoyed volunteering at the School and with children's activities.
Eileen is survived by three daughters: Kathy Fischer of Richmond, VA, Sandy (Darby) Gustafson of Hibbing, and Penny (Gregg) Strafaccia of Champlain, MN; two brothers: Fred (George Schill) Mosconi of Dallas, TX, and Eugene (Ilene) Mosconi of Milwaukee, WI; nine grandchildren: Chip (Jennifer) Murdock, IV, Michelle Austin, Don Espe, Amanda (Joe) Koski, Darby Gustafson, Jr., Alex Gustafson, Joshua (Heather) Strafaccia, Anthony (Katie) Strafaccia, and Nicholas Strafaccia; and twelve great-grandchildren: Michael, Brooke, Dillon, Cole, Ginger, Olivia, Milla, Maxon, Lilyana, Kate, Theodore, and Alexis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: William, her infant son: William J. Kitto, III; her daughter: Bonnie Espe; and her brother: Ludwig.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Memorial Service Friday, September 11, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church in Hibbing. The Reverend Jim Deters will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery in Tower, MN. Memorials are preferred.
