Erdine Carol Wallner, age 75 of Virginia and formerly of Bruno and Austin, MN, died Sunday, August 14, 2016. She was born July 8, 1941 in Blooming Prairie, MN the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Beaver) Hansen and was a 1959 graduate of Askov High School. She married Gerald Wallner on July 31, 1959 in Austin, MN and attended Mesabi Community College and the Virginia School of Beauty. Erdine drove School Bus for the Askov School District, and was a licensed cosmetologist with Regis Salon for over 20 years. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia, volunteered at the Virginia Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop, and was a Life member of the VFW Auxiliary in Austin. Erdine enjoyed gardening, flowers, genealogy, hummingbirds, and loved watching her kids' and grandkids' sporting events.

Erdine is survived by her husband: Jerry; children: Debra (Michael) Thayer of Chaska, Jeffery (Fiancé Missy) Wallner of Virginia, James (Jennifer) Wallner of Duluth, and Carol (Todd) Akes of Elk River; grandchildren: Christina, Bonnie, Jessica, Kane, Cory, Morgan (Matt), Tyler (Amanda), and Spencer; a sister: Crystal DePriest of Midway, Arkansas; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia. Visitation will continue Friday, August 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Brad Felix will officiate. The Committal Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday in the Bruno Cemetery, Bruno, MN.

Memorials are preferred and may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
