Ethel Eleanor (Brothen) Radosevich, age 86, of Buhl died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, in the Fairview University Medical Center – Mesabi. She was born April 4, 1927, in Clearbrook, MN, the daughter of Peter and Mary (Marsolek) Brothen. She was united in marriage to Victor Radosevich on October 18, 1958, in Bagley, MN.
Ethel worked as a homemaker. She was a Jehovah Witness. She enjoyed gardening, canning, picking berries, getting firewood, and oil painting – which she was very good at.
Ethel is survived by five children: Mary Jane (Dan) Smilanich of Britt, MN, Diane (John) Angellar of Kinney, MN, Don (Brenda) Radosevich of Buhl, MN, Trish (Chauncey Payne) of Kemp, TX, and Anita (Tim) Swanson of Cook, MN; 19 grandchildren – one special granddaughter: Chelsea Radosevich; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister: Ellen Rotness of Chadron, NE; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Victor; her daughter: Donna; her brother: Herman Marsolek; and her granddaughter: Darian.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the 3:00 pm funeral service Friday, September 27, 2013, in the Anderson-Daniels Funeral Home Chapel. John Matthews will be the speaker. Burial will be at a later date in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Hibbing.
