Frances M. Andersen, age 83, longtime resident of Virginia died Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Edgewood Vista Memory Care in Virginia. She was born November 12, 1931 in Eveleth, the daughter of Paul and Margaret Leskar. She attended Eveleth High school. Frances was united in marriage to Stanley Anderson.
Frances worked as a homemaker. She enjoyed raising flowers, sewing and cooking.
Frances is survived by her sons: Donald Anderson of St. Cloud, MN and David Andersen of Virginia, MN; her grandson: Keith (Jessica) Anderson; and two sisters: Mary Sury of Eveleth, MN, and Rosie (Jack) Urbiha of Minneapolis, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Stanley in 2010; her son: Alan; two sisters: Margaret and Helen; and three brothers: Mike, Paul, and Andy.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the 2:00 P.M. Memorial Service Friday, February 6, 2015, at the Mt. Iron Community Center. Greg Anderson will be the Celebrant.
