Gary P. Neari, 71, of Virginia, MN, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 at home under hospice care in Virginia, MN surrounded by his family.

Gary was born on January 29, 1946 to Fred and Florence (Carlson) Neari. Gary graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1965. He worked at Minntac for 46 years. He had a love for family, work, baseball and reading.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and nephew.

He is survived by his brother Jerry L. Neari of Virginia, MN; sisters, Charlene J. Swanson of Hopkins, MN, Sandra J. Judnick of Duluth, MN and Elizabeth J. Harden of Dixon, IL; sister-in-law Sheila M. Neari of Virginia, MN as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The family extends a special thank you to the Essentia East Range Hospice Staff for the extraordinary care they provided Gary.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia.
