Biography Gladys Lillian Tichy, age 92, longtime resident of Hibbing went to meet her Savior, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Aspen Grove in Hibbing. She was born January 5, 1920 in Abbotsford, WI, the daughter of Kenneth and Edith (Dombrovi) Ingersoll. She was a graduate of Abbotsford High School. She was united in marriage on April 14, 1943 to Orville Tichy in St. Paul, MN.

Gladys worked as an Inhalation Therapist and also in Central Supply at Hibbing General Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hibbing and Eastern Star. She will be remembered for her crocheting, canning, and, love for her family.

Gladys is survived by two daughters and a son; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Marvin Ingersoll of Adams, WI, Kenneth (Dixie) Ingersoll of Colby, WI, Harold Ingersoll of WI, and Neil (Carol) Ingersoll of Racine, WI; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Orville on August 21st, 1981; two sisters; two brothers; and her granddaughter: Adrienne.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am service Monday, July 23rd, 2012 in the 1st Baptist Church in Hibbing. Pastor Greg Stevens will officiate. Interment will be in the Hibbing Park (Maple Hill) Cemetery.
