James Paul Frazee, age 55 of Virginia died Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was born April 6, 1956 in Virginia the son of James A. and Jean (Laugen) Frazee. Jim was raised in Tower, worked for Reserve Mining Company and then moved to Virginia and enrolled in the Pipefitters Apprentice Program. He was employed as a Pipefitter for Pipefitters Union Local 589. Jim was a member of the Northern Club and a retired member of the Pipefitters Local # 589. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, NASCAR, and gardening.
Jim is survived by his father: James A. Frazee of Tower; children: Jody (Garrett) Kaivola of Hibbing and Tim Frazee of Virginia; sisters: Jennifer (Jeff) Teasck of Virginia, Sally (Gary) Muller of Breckenridge, MN and Paula (Gary) DeFries of Foxhome, MN; Grandchildren: Kelsea Kaivola, Garrett James Kaivola, Ashton Kaivola, Angelina Frazee, Tim Frazee, Jr. and Taylor Frazee; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother: Jean Frazee.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2011 from 12 Noon until the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia. Interment will be in the family plot in the Lakeview Cemetery in Tower.
