Jane Hendrickson, 78, of Eveleth, died peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018, with her family at her side.

She was born on Sept. 17, 1939, in Minneapolis to Herbert and Ellen (Hill) Brandenburg, grew up in rural Eveleth and graduated from Eveleth High School in 1957. Jane was the Class of 1957 Valedictorian and Class President. Jane was part-owner/employee of B & D Standard and then worked for Andy's Amoco in Eveleth for many years as a bookkeeper until she retired in 2001.

Throughout her life, Jane enjoyed a variety of activities including crafting, sewing, boating, camping and motorcycle trips, however, family and friends were always most important to her.

Jane is survived by children, Craig (Cheryl) Hendrickson, Kim (Rick) Wuori and Karl (Niki) Hendrickson; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Darrell Hendrickson.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church in Virginia. Pastor Nathan Sager will officiate. A gathering time for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the Church. Inurnment will take place in the Eveleth Cemetery.
