Janet Luoma, age 79 of Eveleth, died Saturday, July 27, 2024 in Waterview Woods. She was born May 25, 1945 in Virginia the daughter of Clinton and Irene (Dokken) Tokvam. Janet married Dale on August 21, 1969 in Buhl and they were longtime Iron Range residents. Janet worked as a Personal Care Attendant. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia where she served on prayer chain, altar duty and was always willing to help whenever asked. She enjoyed traveling all over with Dale and loved her family, friends and reading her Bible.

Janet is survived by her brother Roger Tokvam; daughters Tammy Otterness and Tracy (Dennis) Kramer; stepdaughters: Lora (Greg) Anderson and Shelly (Delroy) Sauter all of Iron; brother-in-law Darryl Luoma of Mt. Iron and sister-in-law Cheryl Michael of Arizona; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband Dale, her parents; stepson: Alan Luoma, and daughter Tina (Todd) Dawson.

The Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia. Pastor Brad Felix will officiate. A gathering time for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the Church. Inurnment will follow in the Cherry Cemetery.
