Jennie Theresa Mayasich, age 96, of Virginia died Monday, April24, 2023 at Edgewood Vista in Virginia.  She was born December 25, 1926 in Eveleth, MN the daughter of Matthew and Jennie (Albrecht) Tavchar.  She was a graduate of Virginia High School.

Jennie worked as a custodian and bus driver for Independent School District 706 and as a bookkeeper for ABI Construction.  She loved Lake Vermilion and her houseboat and enjoyed dancing.

Jennie was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Chauncey Pettinelli (1958).

Jennie is survived by her husband: Edward; children: Mike (Diane) Pettinelli of Tower, Tony (Debbie) Pettinelli of Mt. Iron, Dave Pettinelli of Virginia, Larry (Mary Ellen) Pettinelli of Britt, and Steve (Cindy) Pettinelli of Tower; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
