John Theodore Melina, age 47, of Virginia died suddenly and unexpectedly Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in his home following a brief illness. He was born May 6, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN the son of Robert and Jerrimay (Connor) Melina. He graduated from high school, and worked as a baker.
John is survived by his loving mother: Jerrimay (Bob) Klima of Las Cruces, NM; his brother (and his family): Robert (Teresa) Melina and their children Jacob and Jadyn of Minneapolis; his aunt: Suzie; uncle: Marlin; cousins: Kelly and Erika and their families, all of Minneapolis; and many friends in Virginia. Their care and kindness is appreciated.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert Melina.
John's life was celebrated in Virginia on June 18, 2011, and a second celebration will he held at a later date in Mille Lacs Lake, MN.
Johnny always danced to his own tune. May his memory and melody continue.
