Joseph Ratai, Sr. 100, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Grand Itasca Hospital surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Klara, granddaughter, Teresa Rajala, his parents and siblings.

Left to honor Joe are his four children, Joey (Yvonne), Mickey (Sharon), Mary Jo (Bob Murray) and Elizabeth (Pete Kelly); ten grandchildren, Tony, Steve, (Stacey), Christine (Todd Sarazine), Anna (Marshall Kaiser), Amanda Spiller, Michael (Kelly), Barbie, Stacy, Jaime (Mat Sexton) and Paul.

The Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia. Reverend Father Brandon Moravitz will officiate. A Gathering time for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery in Virginia.
