Joyce Maureen Ritchie, age 71 of Hoyt Lakes, died Sunday, November 29, 2015 in her home of natural causes. She was born May 16, 1944 in St. Louis County, the daughter of Kenneth and Greta Gulbranson, and lived in Hermantown and Proctor prior to moving to Hoyt Lakes about 10 years ago. Joyce enjoyed fishing, tending to her yard, and her pets. She did lots for her kids, and was a good mom. Joyce is survived by her sons: Lonnie, Mike, and Kevin all of Duluth and James of Ocala, FL; siblings: Chris, Jeff and John; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
