Judy Lee Haverkamp, age 72 of Mountain Iron died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in the care of Fairview Range Hospice with her family by her side. She was born October 9, 1945 in Richfield, MN the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Hodgeman) Bleichner and was a graduate of Richfield High School. Judy married Allan Richard Haverkamp on June 29, 1974 in Brooklyn Center and they moved to the Iron Range in the early 1970's. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant by St. Michael's Health and Rehabilitation Center for many years. Judy was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Buhl and its Woman's Guild. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, helping out at the farm, splitting wood and mowing grass.
Judy is survived by her husband: Allan; children: Gregory (Melissa) Haverkamp of Mt. Iron, Keith (Cristy) Haverkamp of Ramona, CA, Matthew Haverkamp of Cherry and Connie Haverkamp of Cherry; grandchildren: Shane, Stacie, Brooke, Allan, Allison, Steven, Davontae, and Angelina; siblings: Raymond (Judy) Bleichner of Hastings, Peggy (Mark) Geerlings of Salt Lake City, Patty Flippan of Hastings, and Gary Bleichner of Lakeville; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law: Pete Flippan; and sister-in-law: Barb Bleichner.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia; with a Rosary at 6:45 p.m.
Visitation will continue Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Buhl. Reverend Father Anthony Craig will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Buhl.
