Julie Ann Harris Hildreth, age 49 of Babbitt, died tragically, Sunday, November 8, 2015 as the result of domestic violence. She was born June 2, 1966 in Ely, the daughter of Curtis and Janice (Couillard) Harris and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Babbitt. Julie was employed as a nurse's aide at the Ely Bloomenson Hospital and later worked as a Personal Care Attendant for her brother: Eugene Allen Harris and her nieces. She was a member of the Biwabik Covenant Church and enjoyed word search puzzles and watching the Voice and America's Got Talent with her daughters.
Julie is survived by her parents: Curtis and Janice Harris of Babbitt; daughters: Kaylee Hildreth of Hoyt Lakes and Jessica (Robert) Bennett of South Carolina; sister: Vicki Harris Meacham of Aurora; brother: Eugene Allen Harris of Hibbing; grandchildren: Camden James Harris, Kirstynn Washington and Robert Bennett, Jr; special friend: Randy Mattson of Aurora; extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Lucinda and George Couillard and Evelyn and Woodrow Harris; nephew: James Bliss; and many extended family members.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Clyde W. Harvey will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Argo Cemetery in Babbitt.
A Candle Light Vigil will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Truman-Shuster-Quayle American Legion Post # 241 in Aurora.
