Justine Ann Kolari, age 93 of Virginia "Midway" passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Duluth, MN. She was born January 14, 1922 the daughter of Frank and Mary (Buchar) Kopach. During the war years she worked in Detroit as a "Rosie the Riveter". She married Eli Kolari in 1946, and he died in 1956. She worked at Roses Pizza for 13 years, and took care of her father for 30 years.

Justine is survived by her sons: David of Michigan City, IN, Craig (Voni) of Duluth, Gregory (Chris) of Cable, WI; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Eli; all her brothers and sisters; and special friend of 38 years: Bill Moehlenbrock.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 from 12 Noon until the 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Virginia. Reverend Father Brandon Moravitz will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in the Eveleth Cemetery.
