Katherine "Kathy" A. Greenfield, age 55, of Aurora passed away on August 9, 2015, with her family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was born July 27, 1960, in Virginia.
Kathy loved life. She enjoyed working with the public. She was employed by Perkins, and she loved her customers.
Kathy is survived by her daughter: Heather (Sonny) Glass; her adopted daughter: Jessica (Jim) Greski; grandchildren: Jade Glass, David Glass, Cassandra Glass, and Isaiah Glass; a great grandchild on the way; sisters and brothers: Rebecca (Tom Osborne) Burke, Bill (Char) Evans, Mike (Lynn) Burke, Ryan Burke, Ted Evans, Terry Evans, and Roberta (John "Yooper) Young; her mother: Nancy (Jim) Joelson, and Betty Burke; and too many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews to mention.
She was preceded in death by her husband: David Greenfield; and her father and stepmother: L. William (Helen) Evans, and Butch Burke.
A gathering of family and friends is planned for Thursday, August 13, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Iron Community Center.
