Biography

Kathleen Ann Roskoski, age 83 a lifelong resident of Virginia died Sunday, July 10, 2011 in the Virginia Convalescent Care Center. She was born August 29, 1927 in Eveleth, the daughter of Albert and Kathryn (Lackner) Jenkins. Kathleen graduated from Virginia High School and Nursing School. She was married to Joseph Roskoski and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Parish. Kathleen worked as a pediatric nurse, worked for the Red Owl Grocery Store, and was a longtime employee at Grande's Ace Hardware. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and being a homemaker.
Kathleen is survived by children: JoAnn Roskoski of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas Roskoski of Virginia and James Roskoski of Virginia; special granddaughter: Christina Roskoski of Virginia; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Joseph, and sister Aljean Eck.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 in the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery.
