Kathryn Anne Maurin Levitan

Beloved daughter of Anne and George Maurin, she died in Hibbing, MN of a rare blood disease. Kay is survived by best friend David Levitan, siblings, Patrick (Elizabeth) of Wasilla, Alaska, Judy Brisky (John) of Lutsen, MN, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her sister Margaret and parents.

Kay was a veteran, serving in the army as a nurse and later a massage therapist believing in holistic medicine and natural healing. Outspoken and politically active, Kay was a life long seeker of justice, loving all things Israel with the creator and her faith sustaining her.

She loved the simple everyday gifts of the earth; working her garden, picking berries, being in nature as well as visiting with family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed.

Graveside Services: Monday, November 19 at the Nashwauk cemetery, 1pm.
