Keith W. "Butch" Celley, age 75, of Virginia and formerly of Eveleth and Hibbing, MN, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in his home with family at his side.  He was born August 10, 1948, in Virginia, MN, the son of Keith L. and Elizabeth (Waits) Celley.  He was a graduate of Eveleth High School, and later in life went on to receive his AA degree from Hibbing Community College.  A Veteran of the US Air Force, Butch served during the Vietnam War.

Butch was a hard worker who worked at many occupations during his life – he said he would keep a job until he learned it well and then he would move on to the next learning opportunity.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as many other activities.

Butch is survived by his children: Larry (Zenita) Delva of Lewiston, ID, and Trisha (John) Kolath of Virginia, MN; siblings: Sandra (Larry) Peterlin of Hibbing, MN, Kevin Celley of Biwabik, MN, and Clayton Celley of Eveleth, MN; and 5 grandchildren: David, Trent, Sydney, Dylan, and Connor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: David; and infant sister: Ruth Ann.

A gathering time for family and friends will be held from 2-3 pm Friday, January 5, 2024, the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home Chapel.
