Kent A. Johnson, age 81, longtime resident of Virginia, died Friday, June 20, 2025 in Essentia Health- Virginia. He was born December 16, 1943 in Oslo, Mn; the son of Harold and Eloise (Eblen) Johnson. Kent served in the United States Marine Corps.  He was united in marriage to Phyllis C. on May 30, 1970 in Duluth.

Kent was employed by St. Louis County doing road maintenance.

He is survived by son: Thomas (Alyssa) Johnson of Embarrass; and eight siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Phyllis; and brothers: Mike and Ron.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Bauman-Cron Funeral Home in Virginia. Private interment will take place in the Calvary Cemetery in Virginia.
