Lois Eileen LaVigne, age 79, lifelong resident of Virginia died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in Essentia Health – Virginia. She was born December 10, 1934 in Virginia the daughter of William and Martha Faltinoski. She graduated from Virginia High School. Lois was united in marriage to Donald LaVigne.

Lois worked as a homemaker and at several other jobs in Virginia. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Lois is survived by her children: Nancy (George "Will") Borg, Janet (Robert Berg) LaVigne, and Wendy (Wes) Stanzell all of Virginia, and Kenneth LaVigne of Biwabik; six grandchildren: Angie Anderson, John Berg, Jennifer Berg, Dan Stanzell, Sara Stanzell, and Kyle LaVigne; three great-grandchildren: Dylan Anderson, Kaytlyn Quintana, and Emily Berg; her brother: William "Buddy" (Joan) Faltinoski of Chicago, IL; a special niece: Connie Smith; and her companions: Teaspoon and Lady.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Donald in 2007; and five sisters: Marion, Florence, Carol, Joyce, and Marge.

A private memorial service will be held. Inurnment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Virginia.
