Loren Renzaglia, age 64, longtime resident of Virginia died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at St. Michael's Health and Rehabilitation in Virginia. He was born September 14, 1950, in Virginia the son of Frindo and Myrtle "Dolly" (Novak) Renzaglia. He graduated from Virginia High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from Southern Illinois University. Loren was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Loren is survived by his son: Robbie Renzaglia; his cousin and Legal Guardian: Phyllis (George) Harvey of Britt, MN; four aunts: Eda Renzaglia of Virginia, MN, Joyce Kraker of Missouri, Muriel Gilbert of Virginia, MN, and Betty Renzaglia of Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extend family members.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother: Tim.
A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Virginia. The Reverend Fr. Brandon Moravitz will be the celebrant.
Loren's family wishes to thank Donna and Ernie Rowan at the West Chestnut Senior Home and the staff at St. Michael's for the compassion and care that they extended to Loren.
